Where is my gold stored?
Your gold is securely stored in bank-grade, fully insured lockers at Augmont’s facility.
How do I buy the gold?
You can buy gold 24/7, even on holidays, in either rupees or grams. For example, you can purchase gold worth as low as ₹1 or 0.1 gram and above. The live price of gold is displayed on Klarfin’s platform.
Can I cancel my buy/sell order?
Once Augmont has accepted your offer to buy, cancellations or refunds are not allowed. However, you can sell your gold back to Augmont 72 hours after your first purchase.
What if my money gets debited but I don’t receive gold in my account?
In the rare event of a technical failure, Augmont may reject your offer to buy. If this happens, your money will be refunded to your account within 2 days.
Is there a limit on the amount of gold I can buy in a day?
Yes, the maximum limit to buy gold in a single day is ₹2 lakhs. The total value of your single or cumulative transactions should not exceed ₹2 lakhs in a day.
What happens if there’s a natural disaster or theft at the vault? Will I lose my money?
No. You will not lose your money. The vault is fully insured for such eventualities.
How can I sell the gold?
To sell your gold, click “Withdraw” in the Gold portfolio section on Klarfin’s platform. You can redeem it as gold coins or minted products, or sell it back to MMTC-PAMP.
How can I be assured that the gold coins delivered to me are genuine and trustworthy?
Gold coins are dispatched directly from MMTC-PAMP’s manufacturing unit in sealed packaging. All dispatches are camera-recorded for additional security and authenticity.
Are my gold account details shared with any tax authorities?
No, your gold account details are not shared with any tax authorities unless there is an official inquiry from a government authority, in which case we are obliged to provide the requested information.
